Good morning in Jesus name.  I pray that you have a song in your heart and joy unspeakable as we are heading for the time of our Lords appearing.  Of all the things that folks get caught up with, this is the only thing that matters.  Jesus is coming and we need to strive all the more diligently to be found of him without spot and blameless.  To strive and pray fervently for the priceless souls all around us who aren’t ready to go into eternity.  You never know when someones final moment will transpire.

It seems that almost daily, you hear of an accident somewhere in your area in which someone perished prior to having been full of years.  Sometimes it’s a teen and sometimes a young adult with a family to provide for.  They may have been heading to work, or to an appointment, or maybe to a class.  In any case, every such accident has one thing in common.  None of the victims were planning on going into eternity.  They were on the road to get from one place to another place and being launched into eternity was, most likely, the last thing on their mind.

And such it is with all of us.  You never know when your final moment will be.  If, however, you know Jesus as your Saviour, you have absolutly nothing to lose and everything to gain because to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  This doesn’t give you a licence to be careless and irresponsible as that would be considered “tempting the Lord” but it does mean that you can be in perfect peace.  The perfect peace that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus and keeping your heart upon him always.  If, however, you’re not born again, you’re not ready to go into eternity and you need to take into consideration that your time in this world can end at any moment.  As you read this, you are quite literally “one heartbeat” away from your eternal abode and you’re definatly not getting any younger.

This is very very serious because thousands of years from now, and on into forever, you will be in eternity, somewhere, quite conscious to your environment.  That “somewhere” depends completly on what you do with Jesus.  He shed his blood on Calvary to pay for your sin.  Will you accept him as your Saviour (he will save you if you ask him to) or will you try to do it your own way.  John 14:6 reads “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  Jesus made a way but it’s up to you to receive it.  I would urge you to ask Jesus Christ the Son of God, to forgive you of your sin and to save you; even at this moment.  Please don’t wait until your time on earth runs out.  There is no power in the second resurrection.
