The Seekers

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”

They dwell within the camps of every tribe under heaven. They can be found in almost any theater of honest engagement.    Teachers and truck drivers; home makers and care takers.  Wherever you go in this present evil world, wou’re likely to run into one.  They are sojourners in a land that’s unable to comprehend the words of life that they carry.  A wisdom that cannot be found in the halls of acedemia.  An understanding forged in the school of fiery trials and rejection.  They possess wisdom thats avaialble to any who will submit themselves to God and sincerely search his record.

Within this theater of atoms, no two of them are the same.  They each have their individual assembly of gifts and recollections. Yet each one has a single commonality that links them together into an everlasting fellowship.  A moment somewhere in the midst of their yesterdays, in which Jesus Christ became the love of their life; transforming from an historical figure into Savior and King.  A grateful heart they have; knowing that they are unworthy of such a gift.  A gift that’s as timeless as the Ancient of Days who has called them out of darkness and into his glorius light.

They strive, amidst this ocean of souls, to share that which has been imparted to them.  They are ambassadors for a kingdom that comes not with observation.  They tell of worlds unseen and times to be in which the decisions made now will forever determine ones habitation  They rejoice with a supernatural bliss in that they once were headed for outer darkness but now have in inheritance incorruptible.  They also weep continually for all of their contermporaries who seem determined to keep themselves just beyond the sphere of understanding.  They are a people betwixt; longing for that which is to come, but crying out for those who are unprepared for a rendezvous with destiny.

This ongoing struggle between truth and the appearance of truth will finally run its course.  The moment in which each soul must stand before God and relive the things done while living in the kingdom of materials.  Each must answer for what they did when they heard about a Savior coming into the world and paying for their sins with his own blood.  Each will stand on that day without excuse as judgment is passed.  For those who humbled themselves and accepted Jesus as their Savior, eyes have not seen the wonderous world that awaits them.  A city not made with hands where all of the saints will dwell.  An everlasting habitation where God will be the light thereof.  No more shadows, no more departings,  and no more tears.  “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God”

  1. We are each, at this very moment, just as close to God as we’ve chosen to be. He has not moved away from us. We have either drawn near or fled as the Israelites did when they approached the mountain with Moses. A misunderstanding of who the Father really is has caused many to miss a loving relationship with their Creator. “God make us hungry and thirsty for Your presence!”

  2. I am so touched by what you share. Thank you timbob for continuing to listen to the Holy Spirit, for penning your thoughts and insights… they bless my heart, as so often what you write, is the very sentiment of what is in mine.

May we be Christ light in the darkness of this present age, ambassadors of He who is our life, our hope, our heart.

Every blessing to you today and always,

  3. Yes Lord Jesus, may your heart, your love and you light and life be seen in, to and through us, one and all, that others may be transformed by your manifested presence in, to and through us who bear your name, are filled with your presence and are know fully by and in you, Lord Jesus.

    Another wonderful post brother.

    Blessings in Christ Jesus!

  4. Thanks for stopping by timbob…I have been away for a few days visiting my mum and then my dad in his nursing home……so haven’t been blogging..

I always take great pleasure in reading what you share..
