“Be Ye Transformed”

February 3, 2008

It should be our desire to daily become more like Jesus and less like us.  To walk in the Spirit and not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.  The following links are to some really great posts that I’ve come across tonight.  All three admonish us to grow into the fulness of Christ.

It’s imperative to be growing and not withering in these final moments of the age.  May we all have our lamps trimmed and be about our Fathers business.  I wish to all a blessed weekend in Christ.

Romans 8:6  “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

II Corinthians 3:17-18  “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

  1. Timbob, Amen! Also, thank you for the link!

  2. Hey Timbob,

I read this earlier and actually just sent you an email but I wanted to come back and comment because it really spoke to me. That this is why we all write, “to admonish one another to grow into the fullness of Christ.” Awesome words and thank you for posting this and too for including me:) God’s blessings! ~Jen

  3. More like Jesus and less like us; yes! Thriving in the Spirit and not just trying to survive in our our strenth.
Growing in grace day by day, in faith hope and love as we walk in The Way.

Blessings, joy, love and peace to you in Jesus our Lord Timbob! A blessed week and hope for the future. 🙂

    Susan
