This is not a topic that I would normally cover in any great detail, as this blog has a different focus. But because it’s become so rampant in our society, and because there’s a saint at work whose dad fellowships at Mt Hope church in Lansing, I’ve decided to link to a few articles concerning those things which are “not convenient.” Here they are:
Lansing State Journal This is one of several media reports concerning a band of sodomites, who infiltrated Mt Hope Church and engaged in disruptive behavior. CR (the brother at work) told me about this last week.
Dont Get Me Started (Bridget) This post discusses several incidents of sodomite (I prefer to use the scriptural title for this) disruption and intolerance of any who are seen as being in opposition to them. It also covers the media bias in the reporting of such events.
Not A Way to Make Friends…But (1godsgal) This is a new addition to the blogroll and in this particular post, we are admonished to stand up for biblical truth concerning this issue. This relatively short post created a 49 comment firestorm, at last count, over an issue that’s very clear cut. “Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind.” (And vice versa for the ladies)
Gay Christian Movement Watch One could almost make a riddle “what does a gay christian and a mermaid have in common? Answer: THEY ARE BOTH MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES” A person cannot be a sodomite and a saint at the same time. This blog follows the inroads that sodomy is making into the evangelical community.
This issue is even more serious than most of us realize. It seems that historically, when this sin becomes widely accepted in a society, that societies days are numbered. In our society, it has not only become accepted by many, this “alternate lifestyle is oftentimes held up in admiration. I apolagize if this post sounds mean, but Sodom and Gomorrah stand as a reminder of how the Creator of the universe views this “alternate lifestyle.” Any who are engaged in such should understand that Jesus Christ paid for their sins at calvary and will make them new creations if they will repent and come to him. Just as he does for all who come to him in sincerety. The gift of eternal life is ours for the asking, however this offer expires when we do.
Revelation 22:14-15 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolators, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”
