The Last Roundup

June 22, 2009
I thought about editing this into the previous post as it discusses the remnant church in the midst of judgment against a nation. However, the urgency of the topic and the shortness of time is of such that it needs a separate posting. As in all such matters, paryerful discernment and scriptural understanding is imperative. When someone cliaims to have had a dream, there’s no machinery in the physical realm for independant. Nor can we know if the dream is of the Lord, other than by the scriptural test of whether or not something is authentic. An imagination can be powerful and I wrestle daily with mine. Nonetheless, this appears significant and as such, I’ll offer a link to it here. (I found it today on Steve Quayles site)
The statement concerning the saints who were late in arriving in the places of Gods protection because “they had business to attend to” is chilling. The dangers of being overcharged by, and attached to, the things of this world are well laid out in scripture. The scriptural reference from Ezekiel is astonishing and should cause every saint should take this to the Lord in prayer.
Ezekiel 14:13-14 “Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upopn it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.”
Verse 14 almost left me speechless and prompted the urgency to get this post out. I know saints who truly believe that judgment cannot possibly be in this land because of the evangelism efforts that are based here. Well, we also know that the blood of approimately 70 million unborn innocents cries out from our soil. My prayer is that all of us would be understanding of the times, draw closer to Jesus, and make the most of our remaining time in this realm.
One more thing before going. After a 27 month absence, I’ve kick-started my old blogspot site. This was my very first blog. Lord willing, I plan to once again try posting on both sites, even though past experience has revealed that doing two blogs is almost impossible when one is strapped for time. At this this moment, I’ve only moved a few links over to the sidebar, but I will continue to move others over as time permits. (Blogger is different in that one must go into the code in order to place links which is more time consuming.) The site is called PHILIPPIANS 320 which is a referral to the following passage.
Philippians 3:20 “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:”
Well, I’ll be going for now. I wish to all a blessed day in Jesus.
June 23, 2009 (1600) Greetings again. The link below is to a post on Jeralds site that’s very timely in this age where physical gain is often equated to godliness:
June 23,2009 (2120) I just came across this post while scanning through the latest posts from the listings at the WordPress homepage:
Please check out both of the above links when time permits. Blessings always in Jesus name.

  1. Interesting dream. I do believe that we are living in the last days and that we, as a nation in general have abandoned God and will be judged. May Jesus help us to be ready for His soon coming.

  2. More than ever before is there an urgency to truly understand and walk in the Spirit…time is short. Thank you for this!

  3. We all need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling . . judgment is upon us, upon God’s people. As the verse you quoted said only individuals, those of the true church are under God’s protective wing – not lands, churches, denomations, groups, etc. Many will be surprised and ashamed. I read this verse today Jeremiah 48:13 “Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, As the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel, their confidence.” – for too many Bethel (house of God) is their confidence. May we each examine our hearts before God to know only He is our confidence.

    Thanks for sharing timely thoughts!

  4. Hi Carol. These are events that should not surprise us, although we will all be astonished at the full scope of their unfolding. The account above tels of the Lords protection of those who pl;ace their confidence in him and aren’t overcharged by their earthly situation.

    Blessings always in Jesus name

  5. Hi Deb. These warnings have this effect. They cause those who are watching to draw closer to the Lord and be all the more diligent in wrapping things up here.

    Blessings always in Jesus name.

  6. Hi Rachel. Indeed the Lord Jesus is our only refuge and confidence in anything else will leave one in a perilous condition. Last night I heard a preacher on shortwave discussing the intricacies of deception. It was a reminder of how imperative it is to walk close to the Lord and hide his word in our hearts. These are trying times.

    Blessings always in Jesus name
